No money already. I think I am overspending like crazy and I just cannot help it. I think I really need to save up already. I have been going out because of different stuffs (lately it's because of choir caroling), and so most of the times I got to settle my own dinner. But I don't want to ask for more money so I am using my savings. If I continue spending like this then I will spend finish next year's April money in March. Well done!

I'll rather spend the money on contacts than getting the astigmatism problem.

Ok I just find this picture very funny. It is like total deliberate disobeying of rules which are so clearly stated. Like going straight to the Principal and punching him in the face. Like throwing a shoe at Bush. Like throwing the second one after the first one missed. Haha.

Anyway, after caroling today, I went out with Exco and Steven to IMM to buy stuffs for farewell party. Ok actually it's more of Exco buying, and Steven and I were just wandering around looking at things. I accidentally inflated a boob at Daiso, luckily the shopkeepers did not catch me. I was so shocked because at first we were wondering how it can inflate, then I pressed it and voila! And the thing is, there was no STOP button so it continued inflating. Thank goodness the fake boob was strong enough so it did not burst haha. Oh I went back to check 10 minutes later and the boob was just barely being contained in the paper box. Haha. Ok I dun think I wanna do it again although it's quite fun ;)

But speaking of which, I should have tried to inflate the other boob then see whether either or both of them will fly out of the box or not. Hehe.

Went to play in a Contract Bridge tournament on Monday evening with Hong Aik as my partner. Quite happy to say that we ended up 5th, but unfortunately there were only 5 pairs. It is my 3rd time playing in a tournament... the first time was during Vesak Day when we got 14th out of 22 pairs; the second time was when we got thrashed during the inter-JC competition. Anyway, I think I did not do very well on Monday. The bidding was all right I guess, but my opening leads were all wrong which gave the declarer overtricks (or at least which allowed them to make the contract). My declaring was not good either, although we did not go down in any contract, but in terms of Matchpoints, any overtrick is important. There are boards which I just made the contract and that's all.

Oh yeah I just like the bidding using the bidding box, I dunno why. Maybe because it is 'cleaner' and you can easily review the bids. Oh yah just in case you don't know, the X and XX are Double and Redouble, meant to increase the stakes when you win or lose. The A is Alert, used when partner bids something that does not represent the suit bid, but there is a message to be sent to partner. There was once I bidded an artificial bid (Michael's cuebid), then Hong Aik took out the XX instead of the A (they are similar because both cards are blue in colour), then our opponents were saying, "Wah, you want to redouble your partner ah?"

Hmm, I guess I won't say much about the game, for more information can go Hong Aik's blog and read 16th December entry.

Performed yesterday for some World Youth Choir Festival concert. And it was like my first time hitting the drum correctly for the last part of Leonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine. I think I did well for the percussion part considering that I had little practice and I only chiong through the whole thing the previous night at home. The performance was quite boring I would say, because we could not watch other choirs perform. And there were quite a few people watching only, I guess it was around 60% filled only.

Ok after today I guess I will be freer because there will almost be no choir practice. I can finally start studying already... something that I have been putting off since last month.

You would have probably hear this dozens of times before but here I come again: When a person is there all the time, you will just take it for granted and not cherish him/her, but when he/she suddenly leaves you, or even when that person tells you in advance that he/she is going to leave, you suddenly want to cherish that person. Do you not think that it is too late already?

Sometimes, it may be too sudden for you to accept. You probably know that you should cherish everyone around you, but sometimes, you take things for granted and forget about it. It is until the last minute that you start to regret, thinking of what you have (or have not) done with that person and what you could have done.

Sometimes things happen, and sometimes these things are inevitable. But no matter what, always prepare for the worst. It does not mean to be too pessimistic - I am saying that because we are usually ignorant of potential misfortunes such that we are not prepared when they arrive. You should still have the spark of optimism in you!

Wow I finally have some time for myself.

This past week I have been rather busy. So busy until I forgot what happened. I know I had food poisoning last week - or at least that's what the doctor said. But it was very predictable that he would say that, because the symptoms fit exactly. I was having very bad stomachaches and was blowing a lot of air from my ass. I am not sure if I have recovered now but I feel much much better already. I guess I need to take care of my stomach better because it has been giving me quite a lot of problems these few years.

Oh and I watched the movie Hotel Rwanda recently. The movie is based on a true story, about the Rwandan Genocide which happened in 1994. The government sent brainwashing messages through the radio, causing the Hutus to attack the Tutsis. Paul Rusesabagina, a hotel manager, silently sheltered 1268 refugees in his hotel during the genocide. Rusesabagina must divert the Hutu soldiers, care for the refugees, provide a source of strength for his family and maintain the appearance of a high-class hotel.

Why did I watch this movie? I was clearing up the files on my computer last week when I came across the movie. I remembered downloading it because my Project Work is on Paul Rusesabagina himself. I had actually wanted to watch the movie and it is such a joke that I am only watching the movie now. But better late than never. Haha. And oh our group pronounced 'Rusesabagina' correctly, well done! That movie is quite inspirational, you should watch it.

Yeah then had class chalet too. Too bad only a few people stayed over so it was not very fun. Went for a dinner with VSchoir people as a farewell to Ashwin, who has currently left for Nepal and will probably not come back. Skipped class BBQ because of that and Ruth thought that I did not even go for class chalet at all. Haha. Bye Ashwin, and go be a politician!
Nice breakfast, but at the bottom writes: Photo for aesthetic purpose only. Wonder what kind of serving they will actually give. Haha.

Okay I will probably be busy for the next few weeks because of caroling. Can come and find me while I am caroling if you want, haha.
