I think it's time for me to update my blog... at least.

My Common Tests are over! But that was over a week ago. The last 2 papers Mathematics and Chemistry weren't too difficult because I studied for them. I think my CT1 results should be something like EAAA-E (the last one is for GP), something like last year's promos. But if I am not so lucky then probably the E's will become S's. But I think my A's will score higher than last year's.

Last last friday was VOG (VJC's Very Own Games). I could not be bothered so I slacked all the way. Saturday was choir practice and choir BBQ. I was so surprised when my angel revealed herself! No lah, I already knew who she (Kelly) was so it was not very fun.

Had to come up with the practice schedule for the camp, during the last weekend. I also dunno why I took so long to come up with the schedule. Had the camp on Monday and Tuesday. It was fun, thanks to the Games Committees and Exco, but the practices were very rushed. Wednesday was the only free day for me so far. Tried to mug but failed :(. Must be post-exam mood.

Had choir workshop on Thursday and Friday. I think we benefited much from both days... On Thursday, the clinician (Mr Mark Anthony Carpio) cleaned up the little little details that we missed out during our practices. On Friday, we performed on stage. I think it was a good experience for us because we could now tell our weaknesses on stage and can think of ways to overcome them.

We were also busy with Horny Night preparations from Thursday to Saturday. Tenors won again, haha. There was not much competition so after the other sections have performed, we already knew that we were going to win. And we did!

Sigh ok school's reopening tmr. Luckily there is no homework for us this holidays. I think I better start mugging my lecture notes now because I haven't been paying attention last term. I'll update again when I'm free... which is probably a few weeks later.

Wah, brain-dead liao!

Had General Paper, Physics and Geography Common Tests these 2 days. I should get better results than last year for GP and Physics, but for Geography, I am not exactly very sure. I was chionging the paper for the first 1.5 hours, completing about 35% of the paper only. Then 2 hours into the paper I was feeling very sian and wished to stop. The paper is so boring! Horrible. Looks like I'll get horrible marks too hehe.

At least the next 2 papers are not so bad: Maths on Wednesday and Chemistry on Thursday. So I think I can start to slack a bit first.

Haha, I just killed a cockroach in my house. I found the best way to kill cockroaches: use newspapers. Using insecticide will only stink up the whole place. Using newspaper is so effective, one whack then the cockroach will turn over, and once it turns over, it can never flip back even if it is alive.

Ok I think I am just stressed over Common Tests, which is in 3 days' time. First paper on Monday is GP which will probably demoralise me after I finished it, causing me to be unable to concentrate on studying for other subjects. A pass for that paper is relatively difficult for me. Tuesday is Physics and Geography. I plan to use Sunday to study everything of Geography... a rather ambitious plan to try to condense 1 term's work into 1 day. As for Physics, I think I'll need to study that chapter soon because I spent less time last year for promos and dropped by 20 marks :S. Wednesday is Maths but I planning to use that day (and Tuesday night) for Chemistry which is on Thursday. I hoped to do well for Chemistry because I spent much effort last year and improved by 2 grades, so I hope to maintain that good results. Not sure if I can though.

I just got back my Chinese results. Got D/Dist. Quite disappointed with my results given that I scored B last year for promos. And my 'O' level Chinese was totally opposite, B3/Pass, which meant that I did badly for oral but did relatively well for the essay/comprehension. Now it is totally opposite. I don't know if I should retake Chinese or not. Chinese won't affect the university admission score directly (it'll only raise the score if the average score of all subjects increases, but will not decrease the score), but D looks very ugly on the certificate. And I won't be sure if I will be able to score better if I retake.

Ok my aim for this common test is: Reduce the disparity between the contrasting subjects.

Oh my SPA was over not too long ago. Common tests are coming up. I have no time to blog. I need to sleep. Good night.

... then someone comes along and use laser, the latest technology, to measure your height to the nearest 5 decimal places. And then maybe someone else measures your height using the microscope to the nearest atom. What's the purpose, I don't know.
