Remember what Mr Maran always says, "It's not whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game." I always find this sentence very meaningful even though he said it dozens of times until I got totally bored of it. In life, there are always successes and failures. When you are successful, you celebrate it. However, when you fail, don't just stay-put at where you are. Ponder for a while and reflect on why you failed, but move on with life. Don't let such a failure bother you for very long. In fact, the process is more important than the outcome. Like I quote Woon Yang's blog (which he quoted someone else), "If you have put in your best effort, then you have succeeded. Winning a trophy or title is only a bonus."

However, this is not always the case. Like this cover of a movie I found in the choir room, it contradicts Mr Maran totally.

Priceless.
